Our Little Foxes Dance Programme offers four levels of dance classes for babies, toddlers and young children aged 6 months- 7 years.
Our mission at Little Foxes is to create a dance community where the joy of movement meets a commitment to excellence. We strive to make dance an exciting journey, fostering a love for dance through laughter and motivation and creating a stage where young dancers shine brightly. Our dedicated teaching staff uphold professional standards, ensuring technical proficiency while maintaining a positive and enjoyable atmosphere.
Our classes are designed around the EYFS framework and the introductory levels of our affiliated syllabi and offer our littlest dancers the chance to experience dance in a safe and encouraging environment whilst developing their social and motor skills. Once children reach Year 3 of Primary School, they can graduate to our Main School classes at Fox Academy of Dance.

Preschool & Nursery Classes
(6 months- 3 years)
Our Preschool and Nursery classes are the perfect introduction to dance for babies and toddlers aged 6 months and beyond. These sessions are designed to help build their confidence, develop social skills and enjoy music, movement and play with their caregivers.
Tiddlers & Toddlers Dance
For babies and toddlers aged 6 months - 3 years and their caregivers. Teacher led creative dance movement, music and sensory play!

Tots Classes
(3-4 years)
Our Tots Classes encourage little ones to develop their independence, confidence and a joy of movement in a positive, nurturing and welcoming environment. We currently offer two styles of classes for dancers aged 3+, perfect for their first steps into the world of dance, led by our experienced, energetic and caring team of teachers.
From age 3+ children participate in class independently- parents are welcome to wait in our on-site lounge.

Tiptoe & Twirl
Ballet & Tap An introduction to Ballet and Tap dance- this class is packed full of music, fun and lots of wonderful props! Children will learn how to hold their body correctly, to stretch their legs and point their toes. The class includes foundation skills such as skipping, marching, jumping and turning to help build coordination, musicality and confidence whilst having fun. WEDNESDAYS 11.15-11.45am (SPACES) SATURDAYS 9.30-10.00am (SPACES) £6.00 per class (billed termly)

Tumble & Twist
Jazz & Acro Combining the fundamentals of Jazz and Acro dance, this class will have your little one jumping, tumbling, and dancing with joy. Suitable for children aged 3 and up, this is the perfect way to foster a love of movement and develop strength, balance and flexibility. This class combines elements of the Acrobatic Arts Preschool Syllabus with the IDTA Preparatory Jazz Dance Syllabus. THURSDAYS 4.00-4.30pm (SPACES) £6.00 per class (billed termly)

Prep & Primary Classes
For children in Reception - Year Two
(4-7 years)
Our Prep and Primary classes allow our dancers to develop their independence, confidence and a joy of movement in a positive, nurturing and welcoming environment. We offer four styles of dance for dancers in Reception-Year 2 led by our experienced, energetic and caring team of teachers. Ballet, Tap and Jazz can be taken individually, Acro is a bolt-on style which can be taken in addition to Ballet or Jazz classes.
Children participate in these classes independently, drop-off and collection is encouraged.

BALLET CORE CLASS Our lower school ballet classes follow the IDTA preparatory syllabi and we recommend that all of our dancers take a minimum of one ballet class per week to support their technical dance development.

TAP CORE CLASS Our lower school tap classes introduce children to the ISTD syllabus and help our dancers to develop rhythm, agility and a flair for performance. Tap is a firm favourite amongst our younger dancers!

JAZZ CORE CLASS Our jazz classes follow the IDTA preparatory syllabi and has been developed to give our dancers a secure technical foundation in jazz technique whilst encouraging a love of performance.

ACRO BOLT-ON CLASS Jazz or Ballet also required Our Acro classes follow the Acrobatic Arts Preschool syllabus. A skill based class for dancers to work towards tumbling. strength, balance, limbering and flexibility.

How to join our Prep & Primary Classes
Choose your preferred class(es) from the timetable below then simply click the button to register on our Parent Portal and add your child as a student. Once you have created your account you will be able to see all classes available for your child's age group and enrol them directly via the portal- then we just need to approve the enrolment and send you all of our new starter information for the new term!
