Baby
Classes
Tiddlers Dance
For babies aged 6 - 18 months and their caregivers. Teacher led movement, music and sensory play!
Plus- free stay and play with tea and coffee for the grown ups. This class runs in half-termly sessions.

Pre School
Toddlers Dance
For children aged 18 months until age three and their caregivers. Teacher led creative dance movement, music and play.
Plus- free stay and play with tea and coffee for the grown ups. This class runs in half-termly sessions.

Tiptoe & Twirl
Ballet & Tap
For ages 3-4. The perfect way to introduce your little ones to the magical world of Ballet and Tap! With music, fun and lots of wonderful props, your little one will be dancing and twirling in no time! Children participate in this class by themselves.

Tumble & Twist
Jazz & Acro
For ages 3-4. Combining the basics of Jazz and Acro, this class will have your little one jumping, spinning, and moving. The perfect way to foster a love of movement and develop their motor skills. Children participate in this class by themselves.

CORE CLASSES
ballet | jazz | tap

Your dance journey starts here...
Our core classes form the foundation of our dance curriculum. All dancers are required to be enrolled in at least one of our core subjects of ballet, tap or jazz dance. We are firm believers in making classes fun whilst also working towards a standard of technical excellence.

ballet

FROM RECEPTION YEAR
Our ballet classes follow either the ISTD or IDTA syllabi and we recommend that all of our dancers take a minimum of one ballet class per week to support their technical development.

jazz

FROM RECEPTION YEAR
Our jazz dance classes follow both the ISTD and IDTA syllabi and have been developed to give our dancers a secure technical foundation whilst encouraging a love of performance.

tap

FROM RECEPTION YEAR
Our tap classes follow the newly redeveloped ISTD syllabus and encourage our dancers to develop rhythm, agility, articulation and a flair for performance. A firm favourite with our younger dancers!

BOLT-ON CLASSES
acro | street/commercial | lyrical | musical theatre | kicks, tricks, leaps & turns

For those ready to take the next step....
Our bolt-on classes offer our dancers the opportunity to use the technique developed in their core class to expand their dance vocabulary and experience a variety of dance styles. Bolt-on classes require dancers to be enrolled in at least one of our core classes.

acrobatic arts

FROM RECEPTION YEAR.
(Ballet or Jazz also required)
Our Acro classes follow the Acrobatic Arts syllabus. A skill focussed class- dancers are able to work towards exciting tumbling tricks, build strength and develop balance.

street & commercial

FROM SCHOOL YEAR 3.
(Jazz also required)
Our street and commercial classes feature routines to current chart music and give our dancers the opportunity to be creative and express themselves through freestyle.

lyrical dance

FROM SCHOOL YEAR 3.
(Ballet also required)
Our lyrical classes are based on ballet and contemporary technique and encourage dancers to embrace their creativity in beautiful, flowing choreography.

musical theatre
(MT)

FROM SCHOOL YEAR 3
(Bolt-On to any other class)
Perfect for musical theatre lovers. This class is choreography focussed and includes repetoire and new material from your West End and Broadway favourites.

kicks, tricks, leaps
& turns

FROM SCHOOL YEAR 3.
(Jazz also required)
Level up your skills in this exciting and challenging jazz based class! Learn drills, exercises and training techniques to improve your skillset in Jazz and safely add dance tricks to your performing vocabulary.

EXTENSION CLASSES

For aspiring performers....
Classes for dancers who are keen to improve their technique, pursue dance further and reach their full potential.

ballet tech class

FROM SCHOOL YEAR 4
(Ballet also required)
A class focussed on developing ballet technique further and encouraging polished performance. Encouraging musicality and artistry alongside secure technical performance. Recommended for all dancers who wish to enter exams.

pre-pointe/
pointe

LEVEL 5 BALLET AND ABOVE
(Ballet Tech also required).
Our Pre-Pointe and Pointe programme helps to develop strength and articulation of the feet and ankles in preparation for the demands of pointe work. Required for all dancers at Level 5 Ballet and above who wish to enter for exams.

vocational ballet

INVITATION ONLY
(Ballet Tech & Pointe also required)
Vocational ballet follows the IDTA Intermediate and Advanced Ballet syllabus and is an intensive, higher level programme of study for dancers who may wish to pursue a career in dance. Pointework is required.

junior & senior company

Company Dancers train one Sunday per month alongside their weekly timetabled classes. Delivered by our experienced, enthusiastic and successful teaching team alongside regular guest tutors and choreographers, the Company aims are to connect, encourage and develop dancers from our main school, offering them performance opportunities and elite training across the year. Minimum requirement for entry into Company: enrolment in at least one Ballet or Jazz class per week (preferably both). Yearly commitment required. Intake for new company members every September.
