Welcome to Team Fox- I’m Miss Heidi and I can't wait to meet you!
I took my first steps in dance aged 3 in my local village hall and I haven’t stopped since! I’ve been teaching and choreographing for over 20 years and since 2017 I’ve been nurturing and sharing my passion for dance with our young people and their families here at Fox Academy of Dance! I firmly believe in educating our dancers in safe and correct technique and helping them grow into happy, confident and proficient performers whilst celebrating their individuality, personality, and their successes. I am incredibly proud and inspired by the community we have created in Team Fox and our values- striving for excellence | nurturing talent | professional standards- resonate in everything we do both in the studio and out. Our dancers work hard but our studios are always filled with laughter! Outside of dance classes you can find me spending time with my husband Josh and our cat Wilson- working on our DIY skills at our home in Needham Market and enjoying the beautiful town we’re lucky to call home. After working and travelling all over the world we both appreciate everything Suffolk has to offer! Amy Preston | Guest Teacher and Choreographer
|
Amy is a professional dancer who trained locally at Cara-Lea Dance and West Suffolk College before gaining a place to study at Evolution Foundation College. She was then offered a full scholarship to train at Masters Performing Arts on their three year performance programme.
Amy teaches and choreographs for our performance squad between performance contracts and is currently travelling the world as a dancer on a fabulous cruise with Costa Cruise lines. |
Fox Academy of Dance is AMAZING!! All of the teachers are so friendly and supportive. Both of my daughters absolutely love their classes and their confidence has grown so much since joining, they can’t wait to show me what they have learnt each week. Highly recommend for anyone looking to start dancing!
