We offer the following dance styles for children joining our lower school

BALLET CORE CLASS Our lower school classical ballet classes follow the IDTA graded syllabi and we recommend that all of our dancers take a minimum of one ballet class per week to support their technical dance development. 
BALLET TECH EXTENSION CLASS (from Y4) A class focussed on developing ballet technique further and encouraging polished performance. Recommended for all dancers who wish to take accredited ballet examinations.

TAP CORE CLASS Our lower school tap classes follow the ISTD syllabus and help our dancers to develop rhythm, agility and a flair for performance. Tap is a favourite amongst our younger dancers as it's so much fun! 
STREET BOLT-ON CLASS Jazz also required (from Y3) Our street dance classes feature routines to current chart music and give our dancers the opportunity to be creative and express themselves through freestyle and street dance technique.

JAZZ CORE CLASS Our jazz classes follow the IDTA graded syllabi and have been developed to give our dancers a secure technical foundation in jazz dance technique whilst encouraging a love of performance. 
LYRICAL BOLT-ON CLASS Ballet also required (from Y3) Our lyrical classes are based on ballet and contemporary technique and encourage dancers to embrace their creativity in beautiful, flowing choreography to develop their dance quality.

ACRO BOLT-ON CLASS Jazz or Ballet also required Our Acro classes follow the Acrobatic Arts syllabus. A skill based class which includes tumbling. strength, balance, limbering and flexibility exercises, skill building and drills. 
MUSICAL THEATRE
BOLT-ON CLASS combine with any other class on our timetable (from Year 3) Our musical theatre classes include dance, drama and singing activities based around your favourite musicals. From Matilda to the Lion King- these classes are perfect for children who love the stage!
